About Us
Nicole Trahan is a second generation monogram specialist. She grew up in the business when her mother, Linda Matt, purchased her first commercial embroidery machine in 1981. She learned the trade at a young age and started her retail experience at Greek Expressions in 1995 at her first college job. After graduating college from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 1999 she worked in the corporate world for a number of years before deciding that it was not her passion.
Nicole’s involvement in her sorority while in college has given her the perfect experience to work with sororities and fraternities on her local campus. Having worked with the original owners of Greek Expressions, Ray and Eleanor Yount, has given her priceless awareness of what it takes to run a successful Greek business. Her drive, integrity and attention to detail have been noted by her clients which has earned her an outstanding reputation in the industry. Because of this success, Greek Expressions is the behind the scenes embroidery shop for many well-known and established boutiques, bars, and businesses in the Acadiana area. Our versatility is broad enough to cover things like 99K stitch motorcycle patches/rockers all the way to delicate monograms on christening gowns or wedding hankies.
We hope to continue the business model for providing uniquely custom products to our current and future clientele. We recognize our niche in the market and our ability cater to individual needs. Whether you are a small shop with customers you want to offer this level of care to, an individual who wants your creation to come to fruition, or a school program, we can help!
